This beautiful Grade II listed, neo-gothic building offers style and comfort and a relaxed atmosphere to kick back and relax. Close to the historical Roman City of Chester, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet Village, the idyllic Welsh countryside and of course, if your a film buff and a football fan, you may spot Mr Reynolds at his home ground of Wrexham A.F.C. nearby.
The Lemon Tree was original called Abbotsfield and was designed in the 1860’s as a private residence by the Wrexham architect J.R. Gummow. When the Raglan Arms on Lambpit Street was demolished part of the beautiful mahogany bar; was renovated and reused as the bar. Several old parts from various places in Wrexham where used when it was converted into the hotel in the 70/80s. Only the doors from Salisbury park church are still in use.
Everything else has since been replaced during the many revamps. It was then converted in 2000 to Graffiti an Italian Restaurant. This beautiful Grade II listed neo-gothic building has been completely refurbished in March 2010 and named The Lemon Tree, with a further 18 month full renovation in 2020 & 2021 by the independent owners it now offers an award winning restaurant, bar and 18 individual En-suite bedrooms.

The Lemon Tree Hotel offers 18 fully equipped rooms, some of which retain the neo-gothic character of the original Grade II listed building. The Lemon Tree Restaurant in Wrexham, offers a relaxed informal dining experience for all occasions. Serving AA Rosette award winning food throughout the day from breakfast, to their famous and super popular afternoon tea, their sharing deli boards and of course a delicious dinner menu. Their team of dedicated chefs and front of house staff will make you feel welcome and ensure you enjoy your visit.
